Cornel Baloleanu is Teramind’s Head of Engineering. A seasoned engineer, SaaS expert, and visionary, he drives all of Teramind’s engineering efforts.  Cornel also tends to keep our teams balanced between innovation, speed, and pragmatism. Before joining the Teramind team, he led very large, globally distributed teams at a number of technology-focused companies. Drawing from his experience at well-known organizations like Jive, Optiva, Aurea, and the Fintech arm of Telekom– a German enterprise and the largest shareholder in T-Mobile US, Cornel enjoys solving complex challenges. He specializes in prioritizing strong architecture, system design, and leveraging the power of cloud computing.

Education

Cornel studied at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, where he studied Engineering, Electronics, and Remote Control design.
